Global Data Alliance to Provide Internet
Access
to Worldwide Media Research Data
An alliance of worldwide media research suppliers will serve the
growing needs of global advertisers, agencies and media organizations
interested in the worldwide penetration, performance and opportunities
of brands and media. This service is available to current data subscribers
and will facilitate the subscription process for those who wish
to become subscribers.
In one centralized location, the Global Data Alliance, or the GDA,
will offer Internet access to media and marketing studies from many
different countries. The service provides instant analysis of brands
and media for the countries of interest to global advertisers and
agencies.
The GDA will work to harmonize and integrate these studies by developing
common terminology. Reports can be designed and then run across
all countries.
Telmar, the leading worldwide media software and data integration
supplier, will coordinate this process while supplying the analytical
software and Web based technology platform. Telmar currently maintains
marketing and media data covering over 100 countries on behalf of
its over 3500 users throughout the world. This country coverage
will form the base of the GDA launch.
Mr. Harry Appel will serve as the administrator for the GDA. He
is a 30-year veteran of the advertising and marketing business and
Executive VP of Telmar.
Further information about the GDA is available to advertising agencies
and advertisers through the GDA Website (under construction), Harry
Appel or the regional Telmar offices and representatives, www.telmar.com
.
